About

I have devoted my twenty-five-year career to the craft of copyediting and proofreading. I help fiction and nonfiction writers—from bestselling to indie authors—put the final touch on their manuscripts so they can confidently put their work out into the world.

As a generalist, I enjoy and have vast experience in both fiction (romance, historical, women's, thriller, literary, middle grade, and young adult) and nonfiction (travel, health, cooking, memoir, investigative). My background in book promotions, public relations, marketing, and in-house project management informs my collaborative relationship with valued clients, including book and magazine publishers, book packagers, indie authors, health care providers, and nonprofits.

I received a degree in Communication/Journalism from Seattle Pacific University and a Certificate in Editing from the University of Washington, and served on the executive committee of the Northwest Editors Guild board and Red Pencil conference committee.

On a personal note, I live near the Puget Sound in beautiful Northwest Washington, where I pursue joys like gardening, wine tasting, yoga, walking my jaunty lil Dachshund, and reading—naturally!—histories, biographies, and memoirs.
